The gallery Les Arts du Soleil in Dakar is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition:

“Where Ages Speak to One Another”

This exhibition highlights the work of three artists inspired by women and childhood. It is part of an intergenerational dialogue bringing together a senior artist, Baye Mballo Kébé, a respected figure, and two artists from another generation, Abraham Mbuyi and Ibrahima Balayara.

Through a shared theme, each artist develops a singular perspective. Their visions, representations, and concerns converge and diverge, revealing both the richness of their differences and the strength of their connections.

The exhibition reveals the possibility, richness, and beauty of dialogue. If a form of beauty can emerge from the encounter between artworks, it also invites us to reflect on how dialogue between human beings can be meaningful, fruitful, and constructive.
