Samson Gahoui is a painter and visual artist,
originally from Cotonou, Benin. His artistic influences are rooted in abstract painting, recycled art, traditional dyeing and his travels across the continent, from Mali to Burkina Faso, via Togo, Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana and Niger. .
Since 2014, he has chosen to put his brushes in Senegal, artistic crossroads of West Africa, "Sensitive to the way we look at the world, to the little tenderness we give around us", Samson Gahoui transmits its message to new generations: nonviolence, solidarity, love, African awareness and the desire to transmit a meaningful work.
Today, he exhibits and distributes his art in many countries around the world: Dak'Art (Senegal) Cultural Center of Mouscron (Belgium), American Cultural Center of Benin, Luxembourg, France, Germany.
